Also provided a site for partner NGOs to provide goods and services. Świetlica Debniki opened its doors, offering the services above. Polish & English lessons: 69 (in addition to the 48 we’re already teaching) Psychotherapy: 53 (provided in partnership withĪgnieszka Korsak & her team of Ukrainian-speaking psychotherapists) Hundreds of Ukrainian women and children joined members of the Debniki community in Krakow at Świetlica Debniki (“Debniki Common Room”) to learn about the services available to them whilst socialising and enjoying the sunshine. Oksana managed to save her father (providing surgery to him herself) and has since given everything to help many, many people in dire need. Oksana lost her mother when her vehicle was hit by a missile, as she was fleeing. Our volunteers journeyed 7 hrs each way + spent 5 hrs in Ukraine, supporting Doctor Oksana and her team in field hospitals. We delivered the wheelchairs & diapers into Ukraine, to people in desperate need. We purchased as many wheelchairs & adult diapers as would fit in the vehicle. Our mission continues, so further donations will be gratefully received - we're making a REAL impact! This past weekend, donations enabled our international team (Ukraine Relief Initiative & Krakow Debniki for Ukraine) to deliver critical supplies into Ukraine and officially launch a Community Centre in Krakow.
